To avoid filling the Internet with more trash, not everyone is allowed to publish at Metprex®. We have stringent criteria by which every contributor must qualify before they are given their username and password that opens the gate to Metprex®.

We do invite those with a good record of publication in other peer-reviewed periodicals to register with us. The more registrants we have, more meaningful a publication we will have.

Why Metprex®? I have had occasions to evaluate peer-reviewed papers published in the world’s top periodicals. You know which ones; I don’t need to enumerate them. These are journals I held in high esteem for decades. It was a surprise and a disappointment to find scientifically-illiterate papers that were approved by prominent reviewers – papers that went onto make newspaper headlines, data that were cited over and over that affected legislation all over the world. When one analyzes these papers, one learns that these papers passed the scrutiny of the reviewers only because they were preaching to the choir. Traditional peer-reviewing procedure isn’t what it is made out to be. I think many of you already know that, but you go ahead and play the game because you have more important things to do then to bring about a change..

Even though conventional peer-reviewing doesn’t assure absolute quality of a publication, it causes delays of between a few weeks to a year or more. We don’t live in the 19^th Century anymore. In a year, 4 million people die from one disease (cancer) alone. Holding up the publication of some of the studies can cause the loss or extend the suffering of tens of thousands of people. This is the 21^st Century. We need to do better.

Papers published at Metprex® are peer-reviewed, but in the 21^st Century way. By exposing the paper to as many experts as possible online  (and not just a handful of favorite people picked by journal editors-in-chief) with  the many expert comments that are added-on days, weeks and months after a paper is originally published, readers are assured of a way to judge the quality of the paper. If the paper is recalled for fraudulent presentation, readers will always know that; they won’t have to comb through subsequent issues of a periodical for small notices.

Metprex® journals will always be available to all readers for free. No more requirements for a “premium” subscription. You won’t have to pay $17 for a 24 hours access to an issue so that you can view the “full article.” This is not about money. This is about science, scientific progress, and, in particular, this is about accelerating our fight against diseases and suffering. By offering Metprex® journals for free, readership will soar and contributors will always choose Metprex® for their publication needs. No other journal offers more exposure to a published paper!

Welcome to the Metprex® world. We believe it is the wave to the future which is already here. The method of Metprex® is a proprietary property of a global-focus charitable foundation. Our methodology was developed over two decades and there are numerous intricacies to making this work that is not described but which will become evident to users over time. Others are hereby expressly prohibited from copying our methodology because they may modify it and turn it into a mockery of our goals. In return, we pledge to create a Metprex® journal in every discipline if qualified people contact us and offer to help.
